advocacy overview

We don’t just raise issues — we drive change.

The Regina Chamber has been the voice of business at every level of government since 1886. We bring evidence, consistency, and conviction to the issues that shape Regina’s operating environment — and we stay at the table until the work gets done.

our main advocacy areas

Where we’re focused.

The Regina Chamber takes on complex municipal, provincial and federal issues that impact the business community.

Municipal Affordability & Competitiveness

Rising costs, property taxes, and development charges are creating real pressure for Regina businesses. We engage directly with City Council and administration to advocate for fiscal responsibility and a business-ready regulatory environment.

Investment & Economic Growth

A thriving Regina depends on investment, development, and a city that’s easy to do business in. We work with government and community partners to advance policies that attract investment and remove barriers to growth.

Infrastructure & Liveability

The decisions made about Regina’s streets, transit, and public spaces directly affect how businesses operate and how people experience our city. We advocate for infrastructure investment that supports a competitive, connected Regina.

Provincial Economy

Saskatchewan’s economic direction shapes the conditions for Regina businesses. We engage provincially on budget priorities, investment incentives, and competitiveness to ensure our region stays ahead.

Workforce & Labour Market

Access to talent is one of the most pressing challenges facing employers. We raise workforce, skills, and immigration priorities with provincial and federal decision-makers — ensuring Regina’s labour market needs are heard.
