our history
The Regina Chamber has been the voice of business in this city since the beginning. Originally formed as the Regina Board of Trade in 1886 under the federal Board of Trade Act, the Chamber was founded on a straightforward idea — that business owners deserved a collective voice in dealing with government, industry, and the challenges of a growing community.
That purpose hasn’t changed. Over 140 years later, we’re still showing up, speaking up, and advocating for the businesses that make Regina what it is.
