RAA & WESTJET ANNOUNCE ADDITION OF DAILY U.S. CONNECTING FLIGHT

The Regina Airport Authority and WestJet made a significant announcement on Monday morning, unveiling a year-round daily flight connecting Regina and Minneapolis. Getting a connection hub in the United States has been a priority for James Bogusz, CEO of the Regina Airport Authority. Although passenger volumes are currently at 90 per cent of the pre-pandemic levels, the lack of a daily, non-stop flight to the U.S. was a major issue for the RAA.

CITY OF REGINA RELEASES PROPOSED 2024 BUDGET

The City of Regina has released the Proposed 2024 Budget outlining a 2.20 per cent mill rate increase. This budget is part of the City’s two-year budget strategy, to provide residents with an estimate of future property taxes, in line with the City’s Strategic Priorities and long-term objectives.
