
Spiro Kangles is a visionary pharmacist and entrepreneur who has spent nearly two decades at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation. As the owner of The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Northwest Regina for the past 18 years, Spiro has established his practice as a premier healthcare destination. Driven by a mission to provide the highest level of pharmacy service in the region, he is recognized as an early adopter of clinical initiatives, consistently leading the way as the profession expands its scope of practice.
Spiro’s commitment to operational excellence has earned him significant national acclaim within the Medicine Shoppe family, most notably being named Franchisee of the Year. This honor, alongside numerous store-level achievements, reflects his ability to execute healthcare services at an elite level. Beyond his own storefront, Spiro serves as a vital stakeholder and industry advisor. He currently sits on a McKesson Canada committee in an advisory role, providing strategic guidance on technology and innovation to help shape the future of pharmacy across the country.
A dedicated community leader, Spiro served on the Board of Directors for the Greek Community of Regina for 18 years. During his nearly two decades of service, he held key executive capacities. In his personal life, Spiro has been married for 22 years and takes great pride in his family. His son is currently studying Commerce at the University of Calgary, and his daughter is in grade 10 at Luther College High School. Spiro is an avid golfer, a dedicated gardener, and a voracious reader. He resides in Regina with his family and their Australian Labradoodle.
