
Wura Dasylva is a partner in the Regina office of Miller Thomson LLP, a national business law firm with over 500 lawyers across 5 provinces. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance, banking and finance. Wura regularly advises businesses on structuring and negotiating purchase and sale transactions, as well as complex business arrangements. She also acts for financial institutions, private lenders, and corporate borrowers on a variety of financing transactions. Wura’s experience spans several industries including banking, real estate, agribusiness, automotive, retail, and hospitality.
Wura obtained her bachelor’s degree in law from Nigeria’s first university, the University of Ibadan and a master’s degree in law from the University of Manitoba. Wura was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2014 and the Saskatchewan Bar in 2018. Prior to being called to the Saskatchewan Bar, Wura practiced at a leading national law firm in Nigeria.
Wura is an avid volunteer through mentorships, community engagements and volunteer Board memberships. Previously, Wura served on the Board of YWCA Regina among others within Regina.
Wura lives in Regina with her family and loves to read and travel during her spare time.
