LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD: REGINA NEEDS A VIBRANT DOWNTOWN

Posted by: Regina Chamber Admin - March 16, 2023

As a business leader in our community, you have the opportunity to make a difference and play a part in shaping and revitalizing Regina’s downtown.

A multi-purpose entertainment complex located in Regina’s downtown would be a catalyst for economic growth and generate profound and lasting future benefits for our community.

This type of long-term investment is necessary to ensure Regina remains a vibrant city that attracts and retains residents.

The Catalyst Committee’ s work and strategic recommendations resulted in approval to build a new aquatic centre.  This is a very exciting time for Regina and it is important that we not lose momentum.

A new multi-purpose entertainment complex presents an opportunity to bring new investment to our city, while providing our citizens with the assets and quality of life expected by a Capital City.

I urge you to be heard and encourage your city councillor to consider this vision for growth and vote for the opportunity to create a vibrant and energetic downtown.

There are three ways to have your voice heard endorsing the Catalyst Committee recommendations and multi-purpose entertainment complex:

  • Speak at City Council on Wednesday, March 22
  • Send a note to your City Councillor
  • Participate in the Be Heard survey
