The Regina & District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce Mike Tate as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Tate is a visionary leader who honours the organization’s legacy while ensuring the Chamber adapts to the evolving needs of today’s dynamic business environment.
An advocate for business excellence and community well-being, Tate is looking forward to the opportunity to continue the growth of the Chamber.
“I’m deeply grateful and honoured to be chosen to lead the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce. What motivates me is simple — there’s no bigger believer in Regina and our infinite potential. My vision is to foster an environment in which a growing economy enables us all to thrive. Our chamber members can expect an energetic, versatile leader, with a deep passion for storytelling and our community’s well-being,” said Tate.
An energetic and versatile business leader, Tate believes the Chamber can build on its role to shape a vibrant, inclusive, and prosperous Regina, where business and community well-being are synonymously linked.
“Our city is blessed with genuine, diverse, driven, and thoughtful leadership. Meaningful partnership creation and collaborating with all stakeholders will be at the core of our organization. The sky’s the limit Regina, and it’s time to prove it!” said Tate.
The Chamber Board of Directors are confident in Tate’s ability to lead the organization into the future.

Tate, most recently the Vice-President of Business Development for GreenWave Innovations Inc., has a deep passion for our community’s prosperity. A founding partner of GreenWave Innovations Inc., Tate has earned a reputation for business excellence based on responsiveness, creativity, collaboration, passion, and energy for our city.
In addition to being featured as a keynote speaker, panelist and panel host at numerous industry events, Tate dedicates a significant portion of his free time to charitable and noteworthy community initiatives. He is currently a member of the Regina Airport Authority Board of Directors.
