REGINA & SASKATOON CHAMBERS CONTENT WITH SMALL BIZ TAX IN SK BUDGET

The Government of Saskatchewan released its 2024-25 Provincial Budget on Wednesday and included was the decision to maintain the small business tax at one per cent.

The tax was previously scheduled to increase to two per cent this year but will now remain at one per cent until June 2025.

Mia Holowaychuk of CKOM spoke with Tony Playter, CEO of the Regina & District Chamber of Commerce, and Jason Aebig, CEO of the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, about the budget and its impact on the business community.
