WURA DASYLVA INAUGURATED AS THE 139TH CHAIR OF THE RDCC

The Regina & District Chamber of Commerce held its 139th Annual Chair’s Inauguration Dinner on Friday at the Hotel Saskatchewan.

The highlight of the formal event was the swearing-in ceremony of Wura Dasylva, as chair, and Pauline Wagner, as vice-chair. The ceremony was conducted by Chad Bachynski, Mayor of the City of Regina.

Wura, who joined the RDCC Board of Directors in 2021, succeeds Kyle Addison as chair of the board for 2025.

Wura is a partner in the Regina office of Miller Thomson LLP, a national business law firm with over 500 lawyers across five provinces. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance, banking and finance. Wura regularly advises businesses on structuring and negotiating purchase and sale transactions, as well as complex business arrangements. She also acts for financial institutions, private lenders, and corporate borrowers on a variety of financing transactions. Wura’s experience spans several industries including banking, real estate, agribusiness, automotive, retail, and hospitality.

Pauline, who joined the RDCC Board of Directors in 2024, steps into the role of vice-chair for 2025.

Pauline is Chief Financial Officer at Harvard Developments, a Hill Company, and has nearly two decades of progressive leadership within the full-service real estate company that has been in business for over 120 years. Pauline is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA), a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and was a seasonal lecturer at the Paul J. Hill School of Business at the University of Regina for several years.

Kyle, who joined the RDCC Board of Directors in 2019, will complete his tenure in 2025 serving as the past chair.

Kyle is a partner and Chief Operating Officer of Mitchell Developments Ltd., a full-service commercial development and asset management company that owns and manages over 1,700,000 square feet of office and warehousing property.
